Survived By: She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Duffy Morris; grandchildren; Dontae, Nyah and Jackson; her mother, Mamie Esther; three sisters, Barbara McCoy, Rosalind Patterson, Dorothy Boone (Skip); two brothers, Clarence (Shirley) and Kenneth McCoy, one Brother-in-law, Leonard Washington, Two aunts and a host of other relatives and friends.

Deborah was devoted to her mother. She also had a heart to serve as demonstrated in her involvement in the AIDS Walk, Drug Awareness Education and Prevention Ministry, SOME (So Others May Eat) and Re-Entry ex-offenders initiative. On August 21st, 1971, Deborah was united in holy matrimony with Razelle William Washington, Jr., who preceded her in death on May 9, 2008. She gave birth on November 19, 1974 to her son, Duffy Jay.
